American velodrome series pushes launch back to 2026

TeamTrak Cycling League, the velodrome series which promised four United States arena events building to a championship event in October 2025, has quietly delayed its launch by twelve months.

At some point in the last four weeks, TeamTrak’s website switched from announcing ‘coming 2025’, with a firm date and location for its season finale – Worcester, Massachusetts on 8-12 October – to ‘fourth quarter 2026’, with ‘date and location TBD’.

Its promise of ‘three league events plus championship’ in Season One has now increased to ‘four league events plus championship’. Its page of proposed Season One Teams still says 2025.

We have not been able to find any news announcement or social media posting explaining the decision.

The demise of the UCI Track Champions League, with dates likely to clash with TeamTrak’s plans, removes one obstacle to attracting top-tier talent.
