Colombia claimed two extra repechage places in today’s keirin quarter finals at the Track World Championships, following Kevin Quintero‘s earlier success.
Cristian Ortega was a comfortable winner in his heat, and Santiago Ramirez was a close second behind GB’s Harry Ledingham-Horn, to secure places in the quarter finals, coming up in less than an hour.
Hong Kong’s To and Kang of Chinese Taipei both snatched second places against higher-ranked opponents.
There will be 3 quarter-finals of 6 riders. The first 4 in each heat will proceed to this evening’s semis.
