There are relatively few details about the riders who have signed up to participate in DerbyWheel.
Global Keirin knows that around 300 riders took part in the induction sessions in Melbourne, Seoul and Manchester; but successful induction does not necessarily mean that the rider will definitely be participating in DerbyWheel.
Global Keirin also knows that many riders have not yet committed – either because they are waiting for developments in negotiations with the UCI, or because they are already committed to UCI competitions later in the year, such as the Paris Olympics.
But here’s a list of some notable riders who have already been publicly and explicitly linked with DerbyWheel. (However: given the delays in arranging the test event, riders’ plans and commitments may have moved on.)
